Type: Bowling Ball
The Storm !The Q Tour Sapphire takes one of bowling’s most trusted benchmark balls and adds extra length for today’s transitioning lane conditions. The Sapphire is constructed around the legendary C³™ Centripetal Control Core and wrapped in the proven R2S™ Pearl Reactive coverstock. The Sapphire glides through the front of the lane with ease and then makes a smooth predictable move downlane. Power Edge™ is done and it creates more push than the original !Q Tour, but still keep the controllable motion that has made the series a favorite of tournament players and league bowlers alike. The !Q Tour Sapphire comes in a stunning Sapphire color and is infused with a Blueberry fragrance for reliable performance and eye-catching style.
Storm says the !Q Tour Sapphire is a cleaner, longer version of the benchmark !Q Tour. Specifically, the low RG C3 Centripetal Control Core is easily revved, and the medium differential provides a smooth, controlled amount of flare. The R2S Pearl Reactive coverstock with the Power Edge finish easily clears the front of the lane, stores energy efficiently and has a stronger move off friction than the original solid !Q Tour. It’s a fantastic transition ball or benchmark pearl for bowlers wanting length without sacrificing predictability as it excels on medium oil after the heads start to break down. Below are the full specifications for the 15 lb benchmark.
Legendary C3 Centripetal Control Core
In the heart of the !Storm’s Q Tour Sapphire is their famous C³ Centripetal Control Core, one of the most successful symmetrical designs ever made. The core has a 2.49 RG and a 0.029 differential (15lb) and creates an easy revving motion with controlled flare. The ball will read the lane consistently and not get overly aggressive.
The moderate flare potential keeps the reaction smooth and repeatable which makes the Sapphire perfect for bowlers who value accuracy, versatility and confidence on changing lane conditions.
Proven Coverstock: R2S Pearl Reactive
The core is covered in Storm’s popular R2S Pearl Reactive coverstock, a formula that has been trusted in several of Storm’s most popular releases. Paired with the Power Edge factory finish, the cover slides off the front of the lane easily and creates good continuation on the backend when it sees friction.
The Sapphire is noticeably longer and cleaner through the heads than the original !Q Tour Solid while keeping the smooth, benchmark-style motion that is synonymous with the !Q line.
Great for oil Medium and Transition
The reaction chart puts the !Q Tour Sapphire, medium oil, medium-low flare, smooth to moderately angular back-end motion, and great performance as the lanes transition. It shines when stronger benchmark solids start reading too early but you still need a controlled shape rather than a skid-flip pearl
Whether you bowl league, tournaments or sport conditions, the Sapphire delivers exceptional versatility as the lane surfaces start to open up.
Storm!Q Tour Sapphire Ball Review
The Storm!Q Tour Sapphire is for bowlers who enjoy the benchmark control of the original!Q Tour but require extra length as lane conditions change. The cleaner R2S Pearl cover holds more energy and the well-known C³ core ensures smooth, predictable and repeatable motion. It’s a blend of benchmark control and modern pearl performance making it one of the strongest transition balls in the Storm lineup. If you want reliable reaction, great carry and legendary!Q consistency, !The Q Tour Sapphire is a great addition to any arsenal.
This is a pre-order bowling ball and it will ship on the release date.
