Radical Vexed Variant Bowling Ball

More Traction. More Flare. More Power Through the Pins.

Take your heavy-oil bowling performance to the next level with the Radical Vexed Variant Bowling Ball, the latest evolution of Radical's Vexed series. Engineered to generate stronger overall hook, earlier traction, and continuous motion through the pins, the Vexed Variant combines an updated asymmetric core with Radical's advanced HK22C+ Solid Reactive coverstock.

This is a pre-order bowling ball. It will ship on the release date.
Release Date:  October 22, 2026

Building on the success of the original Vexed, the Variant retains the signature 3-to-1 differential ratio that helped define the series while increasing total differential for greater flare potential and overall performance.

Featuring the Vexed Variant Asymmetric Core, a 15 lb RG of 2.490, differential of 0.045, and intermediate differential of 0.015, this high-performance solid reactive bowling ball delivers the traction and continuation bowlers need when competing on heavier oil patterns.

Whether you're looking for a strong bowling ball for heavy oil, an aggressive asymmetric solid reactive option, or a reliable step up from the original Vexed, the Radical Vexed Variant brings more overall motion without abandoning the predictable characteristics that made the Vexed series successful.

Vexed Variant Asymmetric Core – Increased Flare and Continuous Motion

At the heart of the Radical Vexed Variant is the updated Vexed Variant Asymmetric Core, developed to expand the performance capabilities of the original Vexed core.

Radical retained the signature 3-to-1 ratio between total differential and intermediate differential, a defining characteristic of the Vexed series.

With a 15 lb RG of 2.490, differential of 0.045, and intermediate differential of 0.015, the updated core offers greater flare potential while maintaining the predictable, continuous motion bowlers expect.

The relatively low RG helps the ball develop its rotational motion efficiently, while the increased differential supports additional track flare and stronger overall hook potential.

Its asymmetric construction provides drilling versatility and helps create a defined response through the breakpoint.

Rather than relying on an excessively abrupt backend reaction, the Vexed Variant is designed to produce a strong, continuous shape that maintains momentum through the pins.

For bowlers seeking an asymmetric bowling ball with increased flare potential and predictable hook, the Vexed Variant provides a compelling combination of core strength and control.

HK22C+ Solid Reactive Coverstock – Earlier Traction and Stronger Hook

The HK22C+ Solid Reactive coverstock is a major performance upgrade in the Radical Vexed Variant.

Designed to generate stronger traction on heavier oil conditions, the HK22C+ Solid coverstock helps the ball read the lane earlier and create more overall hook than the original Vexed.

According to Radical's research and development testing, the Vexed Variant consistently demonstrated a stronger overall reaction than its predecessor.

This additional traction allows bowlers to maintain a more dependable reaction when oil volume makes weaker or cleaner bowling balls difficult to control.

Paired with the updated Vexed Variant core, the HK22C+ Solid Reactive coverstock produces a powerful combination of early traction, increased hook, and continuous motion.

For bowlers searching for a solid reactive bowling ball for heavy oil with strong mid-lane traction, the Vexed Variant is designed to deliver.
