Patent-Pending No Thumb Core Technology – One Ball, Multiple Reactions

The defining feature of the DV8 Outsider is its innovative patent-pending No Thumb core technology, developed specifically to expand drilling and performance options for bowlers who don't use a thumb hole.

Rather than limiting performance to conventional core numbers, DV8 engineered the Outsider to respond differently depending on the selected drilling layout.

Benchmark Layout – Versatile and Dependable

With a benchmark layout, the Outsider produces a balanced, dependable reaction suitable for a broad range of lane conditions, making it a versatile choice for no-thumb bowlers.

Stronger Layouts – Sharper Backend Motion

Taller pin positions and stronger drilling layouts can create a more angular reaction through the pins, helping bowlers achieve a more pronounced change of direction at the breakpoint.

Weaker Layouts – Smoother, More Controlled Reaction

Positioning the pin closer to the fingers with weaker layouts creates a smoother ball motion, helping manage lane friction and maintain control when a sharper reaction isn't desirable.

This drilling versatility gives two-handed and no-thumb bowlers the ability to tailor ball motion to their individual release and playing style.
