WOW !!!!!
It's December already.
Is it just me, or did this whole year just "fly by?"
I assume that the reason it has flown by is that because so much
has happened this past year in our Country, and in the World, for
that matter.
Like most months for the average person, December is always a very
busy month. We are just recovering from Thanksgiving, and Christmas
is right around the corner. It always seems that there is so much
to do and so little time to do it all.
In my opinion, December is also a time to reflect. It is a time
to look back and review what has transpired in the past year. Like
a great athlete who looks back after the tournament is over and
analyzes; "What happened".
What could he or she have done better in the event? ALL of the great
champions study their weaknesses. Once those have been objectively
identified, they begin to work on those weaknesses. Unfortunately,
most of the non-cashers continually work on their strengths, thus
they fail to improve to the level that they seek.
A quick look back over this past year's monthly columns shows that
in the January 2005 edition (Titled: "It's All Up To You.") we talked
about working on your Physical and Mental games.
Did you?
Did you set some goals for yourself? Did you start accomplishing
things, as suggested?
Well, January 2006 is coming up and it will be time for you to make
some more New Year's Resolutions. Are you really going to start
to improve yourself AND your game? Or, are you just going to hope
that it "happens"?
Remember…..it IS all up to you!!!!!
Have a great Holiday and I wish you and your families the happiest
and healthiest of times. |
